Taishan, Tai'an, Shandong, China
This mountain top village is actually 3 and a half thousand years old, the ruin walls of this place (heritage site) actually pre-dates The Great Wall Of China and may have inspired the creation of that famous wall as it was a successful strategy that a previous emperor employed here. The ruins of the walls still stand here today and there is a global effort on restoring this Mountain top village, relics and structures to it’s former glory
Religious worship and culture dates back 3.000 years old making it way older than Christianity, the tradition and prayer would soon turn into Emperor rule and war within the nine provinces of China each with their own rituals and beliefs of who should rule all Nine kingdoms. Many Emperors at the time had complete rule over their kingdoms which they had to protect from outside invaders from within, with many cases from without their country. The wall around here is 310 miles long and still stands today and was constructed to prevent invaders from the nine kingdoms and beyond, it would be seen as a very smart strategy and would be copied many times over by competing provinces

A view of the mountain halfway down, the mountain extends 5,069 ft above sea level, it must have been quite the task getting the supplies and construction up this mountain 3 thousand years ago, but once complete it must have been quite the fortification for one of the emperors of the nine provinces
