The Polish Army’s Days form a part of the celebrations of the 15th anniversary of Poland’s accession to NATO.

Poland has been a NATO member since 12th April 1999. During these years of membership we have deeply transformed our Armed forces introducing significant changes in both their structure and control/command systems.
They developed new command and staff structures and implemented them in the Polish Armed Forces General Staff and the commands of different services of the Armed Forces as well as divisions, brigades, and units designated as the primary choice for NATO operations.
To improve the efficiency of command system the Air Operations and the Naval Operations Centers have been established. To coordinate our effort and command Polish troops abroad the Operations Command was established. To sum up we began restructuring all Poland's defence systems, including the logistics to make it interoperable with NATO nations' armed forces.
