There are small islands off the coast of San Andres called Rocky Cay and Johnny Cay.

San Andrés is a coral island in the Caribbean Sea. In contrast, Johnny Cay is much more popular and has some of the best views. Snorkeling is the best here, with tons of colorful fish and marine life. There is also a little park on Johnny Cay, home to lizards and colorful birds.

From the shallow beach of Cocoplum Bay in San Luis, you can walk to Rocky Cay, capped with vegetation, 200 m from the shore and the rusty wreck of a boat stranded on the reef serves as a landmark for snorkeling.
