Kilauea Volcano is a very extreme volcano in Hawaii, it is lying in the North Pacific Ocean territory of the good ol USA. Much of it boils and simmers underwater, this volcano is surrounded by 4 volcanoes itself (Mauna Loa being one of them), which make a complete island when joined together.
looking through the museum at the volcano, i guess this museum doesn't have any pictures of pyroclastic flows

Lava is actually more prevalent under the ground in Hawaii than over the ground, you never truly know what your walking on in Hawaii, it's not uncommon for people to fall to their deaths having a pleasant peaceful stroll in a field, forget extreme ironing, lets have extreme picnicking
My favorite all time boat (the catamaran) funny we used to laugh at these boats until the late 19th century, now we marvel at them
